This is a treadmill examination to determine if the patient has coronary artery disease (blockages) or rhythm disorders. The time required for the stress test is approximately one (1) hour.

Resting ECG

This is a very simple and painless test that allows verification of the electrical activity of the heart. It allows visualizing a past myocardial infarction, hypertrophy of the heart as well as rhythm disorders. The required time for the resting ECG test is between 5 and 10 minutes.

mapa
mapa

This is a blood pressure monitor that the patient wears for 24 hours to determine if the patient needs treatment to control their blood pressure. The required time needed to install the monitor is between 5 and 10 minutes.

holter

It is a small portable device that allows the recording of the electrocardiogram for a period of 24h or 48h. The required time needed to install the device is between 5 and 10 minutes.

EVENT ECG RECORDING (CARDIOMEMO)
cardiomemo

A cardiomemo is a small portable device that the patient uses to record a rhythm disorder. The device is loaned to the patient for one month. Unlike the Holter or cardiostat, which record continuously, the cardiomemo records sequences of events that the patient records himself. The required time needed to install the device is approximately 5 to 10 minutes.

cardiostat
cardiostat

It is a device that allows the recording of the electrical activity of the heart for a period of 7 or 14 days. The required time needed to install the device is approximately 5 to 10 minutes.

SPIROMETRY
Spirométrie Laval - Rive-Nord

Spirometry is a very common diagnostic test. Essentially, it allows verifying if a patient suffers from asthma or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).

The test is completely painless and requires between 20 and 30 minutes. The test requires that the patient blows in a device a few times. This test is intended for smokers or former smokers as well as people with asthma or who are suspected of being at risk.
